You are invited to join the National Capitol Area Roadster and Coupe Club on a CruiZe to Barboursville Vineyards in Orange County, Virginia on Sunday September 28, 2008. We will meet at Cracker Barrel Rest., in Manassas at I-66 & Route 234 (business) at 9AM  and drive through John Mosby Country, back roads to the Plains, home of Robert Duvall, a relative of Robert E. Lee. We continue to Marshall and through Horse/Wine Country to Flint Hill where we turn South. Bring your passport as we travel to Syria and pass by Graves Mountain Lodge (which has a great apple festival during October). We continue to Madison then to the historic town of Orange. At Orange we head South towards the James Madison Estate of Montpelier and end at the beautiful vineyards of Barboursville. The ruins at Barboursville are the former home of the Virginia Governor, James Barbour, the 19th Governor of Virginia. The house was designed by Thomas Jefferson. After lunch at the Palladio Restaurant we can take the 3 PM winery tour and/or visit Montpelier or the Barboursville ruins..

The NCA group will be seated for lunch at 12:30pm in The Veranda of the Palladio Restaurant at Barboursville Vineyards. The cost of lunch will be $53.34 per person (All Inclusive) and which will consist of a set 3 Course Meal. The meal includes a Pasta Course, a Choice of Main Course, a Dessert Course with tax and gratuities.   Please send your payment to:

If you are interested in attending, please go to the Upcoming Events Page and fill out the waiver form. Attendance will be on a first received basis so don’t delay too long as this event promises to be a great one.  Once you have committed to attend, Gary will need your payment by check mailed to him so as to arrive not later than the 18th of September.  This is needed because he has to give the restaurant a firm number by the 20th (along with payment - non refundable).  Address for the checks will be
furnished separately.

After lunch we will drive to the refurbished Montpelier – the home of James & Dolly Madison, which is about 10 minutes away.
