Join us for the 2008 Maryland Lighthouse Drive

For the past several years, Chesapeake Chapter and the lighthouse organizations
of Maryland have sponsored the Annual Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. During this
2-day event they open 9 lighthouses in Maryland for a tour. In conjunction with
the 6th Annual Maryland Lighthouse Challenge, we are sponsoring a drive to visit
the 5 southern Maryland Lighthouses and end the tour in Baltimore's Little Italy
for dinner, with the option to visit the lighthouse a short walk away at the
Inner Harbor.
The CruiZe will be limited to 15 cars and the
Sign-up deadline is September 6th.
Start location - Columbia, MD area (VA folks will have an option to meet up with
us enroute to our first lighthouse in Ft. Washington, MD)
Tentative start time: 8:00am
Tour will include:
Option to tour the lighthouse. As most of these lighthouses are in State or
National Parks, there will be additional fees.
Lunch in one of the parks (bring your own)
Dinner will be arranged at a restaurant on Solomon Island.
